About us

These terms apply to the website kockskahuset.se, operated by AP Mat & Musik i Malmö AB, organisation number 556604-2163, VAT number SE556203172301, Västergatan 2 c, 211 21 Malmö, Sweden. By using our website, you agree to these terms.

Table reservations

Reservations made through our website are processed via Caspeco. By making a reservation, you also agree to Caspeco's own booking terms.

Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking. While we do our best to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. For detailed allergen information, please speak to a member of staff on arrival.

If you need to cancel or amend your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible at info@kockskahuset.se or 040 23 09 60. Late cancellations or no-shows for larger group bookings may result in a cancellation fee.

Private dining and events

Enquiries for private dining at The Library, Gillesalarna and Garden or any other event spaces are subject to a separate agreement confirmed in writing. A deposit may be required to secure your booking. Specific cancellation terms will be outlined in your individual booking confirmation.

Gillesalarna cancellations and amendments

Bookings at Gillesalarna are subject to the following cancellation and amendment policy.

Any cancellation or amendment to your booking, including reductions in guest numbers, changes to the menu or any other modification, must be made at least 7 days before the date of your event. For example, for an event on 30 July, all changes or cancellations must be received by 23 July at the latest.

If a cancellation or amendment is made within 7 days of the event date, the full cost of the original booking will be charged regardless of the change. This applies even if the number of guests is reduced, including significant reductions.

To cancel or amend a Gillesalarna booking, please contact us in writing at info@kockskahuset.se as soon as possible.

Catering

Catering orders are subject to a minimum of 20 guests for buffet orders. Staff costs, delivery and additional items such as crockery hire are charged separately as outlined on our catering page. All prices include VAT. Final pricing will be confirmed in writing before your event.

Memorial services

We offer our spaces and catering for memorial services following a bereavement. All arrangements are made directly with our team. Please contact us at info@kockskahuset.se to discuss your requirements. The same general terms for private dining and catering apply.

Gift cards

Gift cards are purchased through our website via Squarespace Commerce and delivered to the recipient by email. They are valid for use across all Kockska Huset venues including Årstiderna, Järn and Gillesalarna, and for catering services.

Gift cards cannot be redeemed online. To redeem, present the gift card code at the venue or reference it when making a booking. Gift cards have no expiry date, are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. For gift cards above 10,000 kr, please contact us directly at info@kockskahuset.se.

Contact forms

Our website includes several contact forms covering general enquiries, catering, private dining, wedding and event bookings, and memorial services. By submitting any of these forms, you consent to us storing and using the information provided to respond to your enquiry. We will not use this information for any other purpose without your consent.

Newsletter

By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receiving occasional emails from Kockska Huset about menus, events and news. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. Your email address is stored and managed by Squarespace in accordance with their privacy policy.

Prices and availability

All prices displayed on our website include VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to update menus, prices, opening hours and availability without notice. Images on our website are for illustrative purposes only.

Intellectual property

All content on this website including text, images and branding belongs to Kockska Huset or its licensors. You may not reproduce or use our content without prior written permission.

Limitation of liability

We make every effort to ensure the information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, we accept no liability for any errors or omissions, or for any loss arising from reliance on the information provided.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes arising from your use of our website or services will be subject to the jurisdiction of Swedish courts.
